How a flight works

  1. Choosing the field

We pick the launch site based on the wind direction that day.

  2. Inflation and preparation

The crew lays out and inflates the balloon, then runs the pre-flight checks.

  3. The flight

45 to 60 minutes at around 1000 metres, carried by the wind.

  4. Landing

The pilot picks a safe field and brings the balloon gently down.

  5. Recovery

The ground crew packs the aircraft and drives you back to the start.

FAQ

Why do flights happen early morning or in the evening?
That is when the air is most stable. In the middle of the day, thermal activity makes flight unpredictable, so we do not operate.
How long does the whole procedure actually take?
About 3 hours, of which 45–60 minutes are the flight itself. The rest is choosing the field according to the wind, inflation, landing and recovery.
What if the weather does not allow it?
The flight is rescheduled by mutual agreement. We confirm 2–3 days in advance, watching the forecast closely.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes and closed shoes suitable for a farm field. At 1000 metres it is a few degrees cooler than on the ground.
Who cannot fly?
People with chronic conditions that could be aggravated by flight, and anyone under the influence of alcohol or hallucinogenic substances, are not accepted on board.
